I picked the Paul browns up because winter time is right around the corner and I've herd so many people tell me that those are what to throw for some good size trout.
I got the tidal surge split tails because I used them a long time ago and couldn't find them for a bit but they were my first saltwater soft plastic lure to ever use and catch a fish on. What do you guys think of these lures and how do yall recommend working them? Oh and I picked up a bass pro tourney special to try out. So far it reels smooth. Let me know what y'all think of it.

Those Tidal Surge soft plastics are solid baits.. tough, good action, and the fish like them.

Corkies are great as well. Get you a couple of the Fat Boys or Broken Backs in addition to the Originals and Devil you got. The devil is great for both solid fish and big fish (same as Originals) and especially if the bite is weak or the fish just aren't as aggressive.

Academy has Paul Brown's on sale right now marked down for clearance. They have them marked down .50 cents but if you scan them they are over $2 off!
The Tidal Surge lures are great for reds.

OK, I'm headed to my local one shortly; don't know if they carry them this far north of the gulf. What size jig head do you recommend with the Tidal Surge?

Thanks!

1/8 or 1/4. Try rigging a couple in tandem to get a swimming pod of bait fish for the fish to attack. My Coast Outdoors has some nice lures that sink slowly or float depending on how you rig it. Check them out!
