If it was during the day I would of play hookies from work and go. Pre front has always been best for me. I also did a pre Hurricane once too and it was like x 10 on the awesome scale.

We had a late start, early finish and did great, nothing great but just good solid healthy fish that hit hard!

Can't wait till it stays cold for awhile.

Does white bass fishing get better the cooler it gets?

You know after what I experience last week. I'd say go when you can. Whites had the lockjaws while the big hybrids was biting good. What ever the outcome of the day it does not matter to me much. I just like that cooler weather. But I kept remembering some of my best fishing days happens in October even back when I was really green horn. I guess it's because we still have more fishable days in Octobers.
