Great 2-3 day getaway. My wife and I fished 2 days on Noconiche, not many, not big, but a Great Lake. If you like punching grass, frogging, or pitching/flipping to lay downs, this is your lake. Towing boat from Houston, 2 1/2 hours. Best part of trip was staying at Eagle Nest Hidden Lakes resort. Great accommodations, 2 cabins, 2 bedroom. About 10 minutes from lake plus a 14 acre private lake, catch and release. Several 10+ bass caught and released. Don and Renee are great folks. About 15 miles north of Nacogdoches on Hwy. 59.

I wish I had known you were planning a trip there, I could have helped you with some spots. It has been fishing tougher here recently.
