I always check any trees/branches before sitting next to a stump. Do you see it?

I will take a snake any day over a spider. Spiders love to hitchhike on the kayak when you glide past the tree or bush they are sitting on. Freaks me out!

Spiders aint nothing! I just smash them with my hand.

Snakes I dont like. I hate them actually. They scare me. Only thing that scares me.

I see a snake I go the other way. Its a shame too my favorite lake for big bass is also the most snake infested lake I have ever seen. Anywhere you look you are likely to spot one if not more in the warmer months.

I got a place here that you'd just love. I renamed it Snake River last time we were out there.

Yep. Always check overhanging branches. I carry a small pepper spray to discourage any snakes that might want to get in my yak. Always spray with the wind though.

I always look forward wasp nests. Got bit on the end of my nose when I was about 8. Me and a couple of cousins were throwing rocks at a nest under a mail box. I was standing if don't of them when the wasps decided enough was enough. The handful of gravel I had just thrown may have been a contributing factor, lol. I got one sting on the end of my nose and 3 or 4 on my arms.
I don't mess with no wasps.
