Never been there and thinking I might give it a try this weekend. Any tips on where to launch and fish at? Any tips are appreciated.

I see the lake has a lot of docks. Guess I can flip them.

Most fish are headed to the back of pockets, though, some are still sitting on walls next to the main lake. It is pretty stained right now because of the recent rains, so make sure you bring brighter colors. Plenty of shad to be found. Generally if you can find the shad and where the bass are in relation to them, then it translates to most of the lake.

As far as launching, hit up Rough Creek Ramp behind Stumpy's. It's somewhat mid lake and, for the most part, that's where most of the fish seem to be.

I would try throwing brush hogs, speed craws and power worms Texas rigged. Square bills, and mid range divers tend to work around the balls of shad. Use a fast retrieve and a fairly lengthy pause, 2-3 seconds, to get strikes from tough to catch schoolers. Lastly, believe it or not, bring a jerk bait with you and try it out. You'll be surprised.

Feel free to PM me with any other questions. Sorry some get on here just to nit pick and annoy rather than help.

Fished it Saturday till noon. Tough. Caught 5 fish. Put in @ 377 business ramp and went up. Water was real dirty. There was a strong current with lots of junk floating. Went south down lake & water looked lots better(heavy stain) from Rough Creek towards dam. 5 fish in a few hours mean I have no pattern to share, sorry.

Catching them on T-rigs, chatterbaits, and square bills around shallow structure. Also, some coming on drop shot with minnow type baits or finesse worms. Like said above Mid-lake(377 business bridge, south to PowerLines) for me seems to be holding more of the fish right now.

Thanks for this report everyone. I went Sunday and at least kept it entertaining. No big fish, but did catch them in backs of pockets like stated above. Buddy caught them on square bill 1.5 and I caught them on trig brush hog. Water looked almost like chocolate milk where we were mid lake around Indian harbor.
