I haven't been fishing as much lately but, i went out Saturday at 6 and it started slow but i finally found them about 30 minuets before the sun went down. we caught 20-25 hybrids all about 15-17 inches. im still having trouble finding the big ones though. a couple months ago i was on the big ones everyday, caught over 30 hybrid (did not keep them) all over 23 inches. the biggest one was 28 inches 11 lbs. i have no problem catching them but the problem is finding them, any tips?

thanks, Nikolay

When lots of people were catching the big hybrids a few months ago they were releasing water constantly and the hybrids and blues were hanging around the Lake Dallas cut and in some other areas consistently. Now the hybrids are scattered around lake and have not been staying in areas consistently. Yesterday I found some in 40 ft of water but they were all 16" fish. Lewisville has so much shad in it right now. I saw more shad yesterday than I can ever remember seeing in the lake before. Never did see the fish feed on any of that bait from daybreak to 4:00 in the afternoon.
