Does anybody fly fish Grapevine? It is my new "home" lake since I moved from Lubbock. Just wondering if I might see some TFF members out on the water one of these days.

It's a great little lake. That, Fork, and Ray Bob are my favorites around here. You can't find a better lake for bank access, there's plenty of good kayak launch spots if that's your thing, and smallies get stocked on the regular. Topping it off, Grapevine happens to be a pretty darn cool city.

The north side has some flooded timber for plucking LMB's (all the marina areas are good too). You can find the smallies on the east side, near the deep water off the rocks.

Thank you for the heads up! I'll probably take the boat out Wednesday after work for a little bit. I'm pretty excited to hear that they stock smallmouth. I definitely want one of those on a fly rod.l
