Been awhile since I posted, so I thought I'd see if I remembered how... grin

Fishing has gotten better for the past two weeks as far as bigger fish are concerned. Buffalo Springs Lake has produced BIG numbers of SMALL fish all summer long and now the trend is SMALL numbers of BIG fish. I managed a few decent fish today and fishing should only get better as temps get cooler.

I been there before . Were you bank fishing or in a boat ? Last time I went was on a Friday back in the summer and the lake was covered in campers , boats , pontoon boats and jet skis. Didn't catch anything that day . May go back someday since kids are back in school and getting cooler maybe not so many campers .

Didn't fair as well on Tuesday. I caught quite a few unders (50 or so) and two 12 inch crappie that were released to fight another day. I am ready for some much cooler temps. I tied those jigs, but the pattern isn't my creation . I have seen them tied by a few other people....they are some fish catchers!
