 Blinking light on charger. What does it indicate?

One of the trolling motor battery banks is blinking when I plug in the charger. Does anyone know what that indicates? Both TM batteries are new but one could be bad?

may be a stupid question but did you check to ensure all connections are tight?

Blinking what color? Assuming they're multi color LEDs.

All connections are tight. Wired up correctly as everything has been working fine for a month. It's a Ranger charger and it only has red or green lights and blinking red.

Usually it means it can't detect a battery. That can be caused by a bad battery or, a battery that has been discharged too low that the charger can't detect it.

Depends on the manufacturer. Mine will blink yellow when it is in absorption mode. Flashing green is in maintenance mode. Red flashing is a battery problem, either over charged, not connected, etc. This is on Minn Kota.
It could be a battery too low, charging too high, took too long to charge, a bad fuse, bad battery or connection problem. If you can find an online manual, it will narrow it down some.

Switch batteries with the charger leads and see if the same bank is doing the same thing.

I appreciate the suggestions. I have some trouble shooting to do.
It is a Pro Charger and has 5 red led lights when charging and 1 green when charged.

Try putting a manual charger on the one blinking red.
I just had the same thing and had to replace 3 dead ones. Each had less than 1 volt on a meter.

It could be a bad bank on the charger itself. It happened to me. Get your batteries tested if they test good then that is probably what it is
