Don't see that very often at Canyon. What part of the lake was that?
How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

Been happening a lot over the past couple of weeks! There's times of the year and in certain places it happens.. But then again a lot of people don't fish it hard or often.. It's right down the road from me, so I'm there learning and fishing a lot. This was by the dam.. Over deep water. After each cool front this happens for a few days..

Used to fish Canyon lake very often as well. I kind of gave up on it after way too many bad fishing trips. Lost all confidence in having a good fishing day on that lake and that's a pretty bad attitude to start a fishing trip with before you even get there. I did catch a huge striper there though that wast 2.5 in away from the lake record. Old memory

Yea it def has its ups and downs... Certain times of the year are killer though and we are getting into the good time... Summer time, for me, might as well just go sking lol. But spring and fall have been good to me and I believe it'll get better as it gets cooler.
