I LOVE throwing swim jigs! Year after year they keep producing giant bites with no signs of stopping. Its been a while since I've weighed in on the subject so for those of you that are interested this video is going to give you some history, break down different head styles, skirts, trailer sizes, brands, etc. I'm sure you won't agree with everything you see but if you want to see a West Coast approach to swim jigs, its all here.

Rage Craw is a fantastic trailer here in Texas! yes sir. It's what I use on every kind of jig. Swimming, dragging, hopping, flipping.....

That "Bluegill toms" colored jig is a great color for shallow boat docks with a black in blue trailer or a summer craw color trailer skip it in and slowly drag/swim it out. Most of the time, it gets bit before it makes it out.
