Mike, what I did to catch scumbags like this was to buy a dash cam. It records on a mini sd card that you can use on your computer and get footage of the truck/car, license plate etc. and time it happened. Mine has a wide angle lens so it picks up just about everything. I bought mine on Ebay but Fry's has a large selection too.
Check'em out. Sorry 'bout you truck and hope someone reads your post who might be a witness.

They have these dash cams starting at $15 but ain't worth a [censored], I paid $99 for mine and they go up to $300 but you don't need to pay that. Just stick with a name brand like Garmin or similar. You'd be surprised how useful these things are like if you get hit by someone who ran a red light or stop sign or hit your truck with their trailer. Heard some bad stuff happened at Fork during the Big Bass Splash at the different parking areas.

What made it worse yet was that I parked a good ways away from the entrance. I always park away from the closest places to get in and out of any place as I hate door dings. There were a lot of open spots between me and the ramp that day for sure. At least I thought that anyway.

I have thought about using a dash cam but also putting a second camera in the rear window to record someone running into my trailer or breaking into the camper shell. Already had someone clip the corner of my trailer but without any photographic evidence not anything that can be done.

I know how you feel. I had someone back in to my one year old 5th wheel toy hauler while checking in to the KOA at Lake Livingston yesterday. It's one year old and didn't have a single scratch on it. Of course they just drove off also so I have no idea who did it. No major damage but the panel that's bent is probably 20-25 feet long.
