I couldnt buy a bite in the Mallard Park area on jigs. Was i in the wrong area, bad timing, wrong bait or ???
I did not notice any baitfish of any kind in the cove so im wondering if that had anything to do with it.
Fished from 10a-4p.
Any pointers would be appreciated

I drove across the bridges on 78 Thursday evening. In both of those coves including where mallard is was crazy loaded with baitfish. The water was glass and the entire area up by the bridges was never ending circles.
Did you try shallow? 4-10 feet or so?
I'm not one of the crappie experts here but Im sure one of them will point you in the right direction.

Fowl I was out there this morning and judging by the boat show I'd say you weren't in totally the wrong spot. (How do 5 boats fit under 1 bridge?)
There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish
