Headed up to Texoma this weekend and may go chase some sandies/striper on Saturday to take a break from bass fishing.

Any reports? Any solid topwater action?

Thanks.

Fishing is good on the flats. Gulls, herons and egrets show the way early then the ledges. Mill creek to 377,Behind islands and Mac to wash its point all got fish. Good stripers are mac to washita others sandies. Hitting small topwaters, little jigs and small slabs.Good luck!

Harry, not trying to take over your post.
We had a great family day at Texoma Saturday. My wife and I had our 3 dogs on the islands, they got to run and play with no fences. Not a lot of boat traffic. We had places to ourselves. We had a great time.
Sunday I was on the water before sunrise. We were staying at Big Mineral. I found birds working between Mill Creek and 377. Six boats were in the area. Within 30 minutes. 20 boats were in the area. I caught Sand Bass. It appeared everyone was catching Sand Bass. I wanted to trailer to Washita Point but I didn't have a lot of time Sunday.

Thank you for your help.
John
