They look real good. Got on the lake 1/2 day this week. We caught 40 that we kept and lots of dinks.

Thank you guys! This color combo is probably the #1 favorite of more crappie fishermen than any other combo! It's my #2 color combo for stained water!

Using marabou is a lot like hackle good feathers makes the jig. I like the salt water type marabou and the tip alone will do most crappie jigs and so easy I would think that in the last 20 years 80% of the jigs I have put out to people for jigs is marabou and Buck and Bunny Hair. If you sell get with people that think like you do, and there is a lot we all can learn from each other as most of the things that work in the south will work here. I know Skip will not mind me putting this here so do a look on Salt water Marabou. last week Skip was talking about maybe trying to carry some his self so do check with him first.

Always beautiful work there buddy! That reminds me,at my dads this thanksgiving,he said the old pond was getting rebuilt because the road was getting wider.(dang city is growing) so I grabbed some 1980's zebco's and a old tackle box and made do. Grabbed a few kids and went to clean out a few fish. Everyone caught fish. Took 2 chain stringers of bass back to the party. Road runner and bettle spins were only thing that age didn't destroy in the tackle box. Bass were in 2lb range. GOOD FUN! Your lure would have killed them.

It's just Blood Quills Larry, don't know about Saltwater Marabou? I save the tips and only use the barbules that I tear off the stem so there is no stem in most of my jigs as it will hinder action a little if left in. So only a few get the tipster in mine and then it has to be a very limp thin stem and also look like it's not used, lol! I use a stem in maybe 10% of my marabou jigs and 90% have no stem at all! I tear off the barbules and stack them as I want, then I pinch where I want to cut the end I tore off to make it the length I want.
Thank you Catfish-hunter! I have fished Roadrunners since the late 1970's for crappie long lining.
