Going down with four friends in the third weekend in October. Anyone with experience in the area? Guides, food, fun? Looking at doing a 12hr, 60 mile trip. Thanks!

Surf should be good for bull reds not sure how offshore will be since I've never been offshore out of Matagorda. Poco Playa is THE place to eat. The food is fresh and made from scratch. Pricey but worth every penny. Bring your daily catch in and have it prepped your way for a pretty good price. Good luck
