So I don't spend a whole lot of time tying flies, but I've started to work at the craft since I have the materials and tools. About the only fly I end up tying are these small foam spider flies. Usually black or yellow spiders with crazy legs. They are easy, cheap, and they always seem to catch me blue gill at the pond and bass at the park lake by my home. With the cooler days, I took the fly rod out and worked the shore line at Golforth Park. They love my poorly made spider flies, but it is a thrill knowing that fish are taking my own little creations. I'll need to work on my tying skills, arts and crafts has never been my forte in life.

Great feeling catching fish on a bait that you have made. Good job.
