I don't have one!! But I plan on checking it out some next week!! Plan is to throw 50 slabs on ice and hopefully avoid rush hour!! Driving that far and paying city boat ramp fees fish will be harmed!!! Hopefully I won't see any monkeys or clowns trying to lure me into the woods!!! Clowns are creepy!!!

Little man said him and his buddy Shooter went the other day and caught 200 2 pounders!! Then he said they got into a brushpile full of turtles and he caught the lake record turtle!! It was so big when he tried to pull it in the boat an alligator came and tried to eat it, but he whooped that alligator off and he still hold the record for biggest turtle caught at the lake! Wherever they keep that record at!! First liar is never gonna stand a chance around this kid! I am expecting maybe some tough conditions cause he can usually catch 700 3lbrs with Shooter at Fork so to only catch 200 2 pounders is kinda a slow day!!

Welcome to the MetroMess!!
Right now we are catching crappie on any color, size, make and any where you stop and fish. Timber (standing or submerged), brush piles, condos, rock pile, horse trough and bridges. Fish being caught from 5' to 25'. I was finding 1.5 plus lb fish on timber in 12' of water right off the bottom until the first cold front. I have been seeing that pattern deteriorate and the fish are on the move. Recently (Monday and today) the better fish caught seem to be in 18'-20' again right off the bottom. Things are changing daily, weekly. It is Fall and the weather can change the bite in a heart beat. Water temp was in the high 70' See ya soon....
24lb will take D1

I tell him to take me to catch one of his 3lbrs and he tells me I'm a potlicker and to find my own fish!! But when I'm sticking em he's standing on my toenails telling me to give him room to fish!!!

Fished today and north wind made it tough. Traffic sucks. Caught maybe 25 fish but nothing for a weigh in. Scanned about 3/4 mile in Cottonwood and about that far in Little Elm and not a single brush pile. So I guess BPs are everywhere if you know where everywhere is. Gona try again in the morning. Traffic sucks.

Hoping for the same here!! Hope you stick em today!!! Always makes the drive home easier talking about all the fish you caught!!

I was on Lewisville yesterday baiting some catfish holes and stopped to check out the bite under the I-35 bridge. They were biting like crazy. Caught all fish on a pink 1/16 jig head with shad colored body. Only problem was about 30 to 1 on the small fish to keepers. Most fish were 8-10 ft suspended.
