I have recently started fishing with lip less crankbaits and have found that most of them are made cheap. Cheap being that they are wrapped in whatever color they are and don't last for more than a few days if that. I need a good quality brand.

Lucky Craft LV 500 One brand that won't fail you is Lucky Craft. This is my favorite lipless crankbait and it is yet to let me down. Duo Realis Vibration Another good one I've found is this one. It's more thin and small, therefore better for high pressured situations.

Strike King red eye is still my go to that was the last brand I tried and it was peeling off and running sideways after a few casts into isolated stickups

Those Duos are really nice--I've got just a few--a little pricey, but they are great.
I really hate to give this away, but the Sebile Action First Seekers (currently on sale at Tackle Warehouse for under $5) have fantastic castability, really good action, and durable finishes. The paint jobs are simple, but they work.

Weird, I've had the eyes come off and the paint scratch off but never had an issue with them running untrue.
I throw the Yo Zuris too and I liked the Xcalibur one knocker a lot before it was discontinued.

6th sense makes a great trap. It is called a snatched. They make 2 types. A faint rattle system am a regular bb version. Many tournament wins on both.

Original Rat-L-Trap ain't broke and when the finish finally wears off because they caught so many fish...they catch even more!

Lucky craft makes a great product. The only Red Eye Shads I use are the Tungsten 2 Tap. I haven't had any issues with peeling on them. I have a box full Rat-L-Traps but there are times when I can't get a bite on them and I can the 2 Tap. I've just always assumed it was because every fish in any high pressure lake has seen and heard one it's entire life.

The paint peeling off is a good thing. I have spent more time than I care to admit chipping/scraping chrome off of different hard baits because they didn't come in bone color. I always leave a few chrome patches on there, makes it look more like a banged up shad IMO.

Some days they want one better than another. I have Rat-L-Traps, Xcalibur, 6th Sense and a few other random ones. With a mix of regular and one knockers.
