Yep....Clark was so bad last time I went I wanted a swamp boat. I could hang so much hydrilla on my motor it wouldn't get on plane. Lol
And a trolling motor that weighs 200 pounds each time I try to lift it out
But, some BIG bass in that lake.

Here is a lake Clark stringer from a few weeks ago. Small tourney. Took 5 fish 14 pounds to win.... Not bad for lake full of "dinks". My biggest from that lake was 6-1/2 pounds or so. Maybe 7. Never weighed it.

Fork would be the closest I can think of. Ray Roberts had some, but I think its mostly gone due to flooding.

We don't even have pond weed in Roberts anymore. Too many carp and too much flooding.
See you on the lake and have a great day!

Early morning buzz bait over the grass behind Wolf Island. That was fun! When buzz bait bite stopped pull out the fluke or Senko. The memories! TP&W will make sure that does not happen again.

I don't think TPWD had anything to do with the loss of grass on Roberts

it seems to me that Bill Wilcox fished a little lake down near Alvarado that had a lot of grass in it.. I don't remember the name of the lake but maybe Mark Jones would remember.

BD I think that was Wheeler Branch--they have recently banned boats with raised floors, bilges, and/or live wells.

hydrilla is temperamental. I regularly fish a lake at the deer lease, about 5 acres, and it is choke full of grass. I fished it in June full. The lake has been up for several months, and we went back Sunday and Monday, Grass is gone. Every bit. No one sprayed it, etc. like someone pulled it all out, even in the back of the coves.
