The way I understand it is only the top 5 get invitations. If someone double qualifies then that person's invitation goes to someone already on the Elites that did not requalify through Elite AOY points, not to the next place finisher in the open divisions. This is correct. Just got off the phone with him. He is in good shape in the Centrals with two more to go. He is sixteen points out of first. Yes, he is a fine young man.

Thats what I've heard as well, have to be in the top 5, they don't work down the list is someone declines or is already double qualified.

Looks like little Alton may get it done in the central opens. Win on red river puts him in the classic and 2nd in central points.
More interesting is the FLW guys that have qualified for elites so far. Which of these will make the jump?

Jacob Wheeler
David Dudley
Stetson Blaylock
Could make for the best elite field ever.
Add young guns like Little Alton and Skylar Hamilton and it will be very interesting.
