How much you need? I have a bunch in the freezer. It would be free for a bag or 2. Catch me at the end of a Lewisville trip and you can have them live. Almost always have some left each day.

Shad gizzards used to be my go to bait for fishing below Lewisville dam in the Trinity. Haven't seen them for sale in bait shops for years but if you find them please post where. They are like cocaine to an addict when the channels are running up the river.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

I appreciate the offer but I am looking for the internals, not the shad itself. Unless you are catching 8-10 inch shad that I can gut..and use for bait.

They ought to be around and probably were back during spring and early summer. Due to the drought they were hard to find but with all the rain the past 3 years they should be for sale somewhere...

The gizzards I used to get were in pint fruit jars and as I recall came out of Arkansas.
Even back in the mid 70's they were $4.00 a pint.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time. Sounds like a gimmick to me.
