After seeing the numbers for the West division at the first event , the Tournament director and the Board have made a change of venues. The new lake is Possum Kingdom on November 19th. Bug Beach Park #1 is the site of weigh in.

Thank you all for understanding, we normally do not like to change lakes , but with the numbers we feel that this venue will be much better.

Thanks

Good Call to change lakes on the East side as well from Tyler. Although, I would have rather seen us go to Fork or Cedar Creek rather than visit Palestine twice in the season, but there is no way Tyler would fish politely with over 200 boats.

Thanks and good job.

2nd vote for this!
Fork has been tough on the east division last 2 times there with massive cold fronts, would be better than doubling up on a lake though

Great job. Lewisville launch went great. We were boat 158 and it only took 21 minutes for us to go. Very well organized.
thank you

I heard rumor we were going to be able to start trailering to all tournaments due to congestion. Is there any truth to that Ken Starling? I feel it would help out a great deal.

That would definitely help a little bit I heard of a team who was boat number 8 and they were calling boat 200 by the time they got in the water... tough times for them.

Yes, all events from this date forward will be a Trailering events.
You will can leave the ramp of your choice at Anytime after midnight the morning of the event. They will have a Start fishing time and must Stop at 3 pm.
Weigh in line will close at 430.
The amount of bags placed out will be 25 bags , this is to keep the kids from standing in line behind 30 teams.
We are all pretty quick at weigh in fish, so it should not be a problem. With the use of the mesh bags they are not in line long with the plastic bags. Do Not bring fish to the scales in your bags please.

Also the Hubbard Creek event has been moved to Possum Kingdom do to the size of the field and ramps at Hubbard Creek. The weigh in will be at Bug Beach Park. Information will be on the website soon.

I will also make a thread announcing the change.

Thanks to all

So with the new trailering rule no check in required just no fishing before lines in time and lines out at 3?

You still have to check in to get your team number.

Ken,

Since trailering is going to be allowed, do we still have to go to weigh-in to have our live-wells check?

You or your students still need to go to check in and receive their boat number. That's how we know who is on the water and not. You do not need to take the boat
