Fishing in a tournament solo this weekend, never been looking for some tips. From what I have seen the lake looks pretty shallow only 20' deep according to maps, anything will help.

Well, i can assure you the lake has plenty of water deeper than 20' and some of that is great fishing. I would suggest finding someone to show you how to run all the way up the lake, a lot of tournaments are won up there. Otherwise there is plenty of good deep water to fish mid to lower end.

This time of year the trap bite should be turning on. Frogs, plastics, spinnerbaits. Bring your tackle box and throw the kitchen sink at them!

My only problem is we have a 25+ man tournament and I know everyone will be bumping elbows up the creek, but if that's what it takes to win

That's not very many boats. There was a poormans on Saturday and it was not crowded. Seemed most of the crowds were on points around midlake

There is a ton of water to fish up the creek, not everyone wants to make that run
