i have hb 1199`s which card is best ?

Both have their strong points. I prefer Lake Master in my HB

I prefer the LM...great details, roadbeds, creeks.

What lakes do you want to fish? I have both. Prefer Lake Master but Joe Pool isn't an HD map so I use navionics on it. Navionics usually gives more details in my opinion but Lake master has other features that makes it nice plus it runs with my terrova.

Navionics is better for Whitney, I use both cause one may do a certain lake better than the other.

It does not matter. That is why you choose which card slot you want to the unit to read. You can put both LM and Navionics in it at the same time and you choose which one the unit to read or you can put a blank ad card in slot for screenshots

Yes it does. It you have both cards in though, you cannot take screen shots. I have both in the 1198 and they both have good and bad points. Depends on what lakes you fish.

Like stated above, your best bet is to look at the available mapping from each company and choose which offers better mapping for the lakes or areas you fish. Both are great products and 1 may shine more or less than the other depending on what has been done at your lake. To check out the available mapping for Navionics check out the free webapp:

It has a search feature to search for lakes and also be sure to toggle the button in the bottom left to turn on the Sonar Chart Layer.
