I just got this picture from my mechanic and I feel like I'm gonna puke. He was doing some motor work and reached down to pick something up and realized that my hull looks to be delaminating. It's on a 1999 triton TR20. It's on the passenger side and starts about where the wheel is on the trailer. Can any of you experienced guys spitball this and give me an idea what it's going to take? I'm taking it into a glass shop in the next few days but I'm trying to get some sort of idea whether it will be a total or not.

Quick note: I'm up in WA State but love this forum because of the knowledge and willingness to give advice of the users. I've got a local fiberglass shop here in WA.

That happened to a friends 2004 TR-196 about a year ago. He found it was almost as cheap to have a gorilla hull put on his boat. If I remember right, I think he said it was going to cost somewhere between 9k-11k to fix the delamination. He had the gorilla hull put on for a couple of thousand more but it has a lifetime warranty where the glass fix was only a year. I will say the gorilla hull is ugly and it is heavier then fiberglass so it slowed the boat down a little but it works.
