 Fun on the river today!

  Recent rain had water up and moving a bit. Found stacks of young 3-7lbs carp moving in small pockets. Was able to sight cast corn on lightly weighted line and catch almost every cast for a while! Too much fun! The bull dog fight was interesting as they tried to hit cover. Hardest freshwater fighter in my book. MH Rod with 10lbs braid and a 12 lbs florocarbon leader. Great time.

Got on the, again today. Used a chili pepper/grits and corn pack bait as attractant. Also spread corn along the swim. Tons of smaller carp came calling. Hair rig with imitation corn did the trick. Just about every   cast for an hour or more produced a fish.
