Had a great day on the lake with Troy Thomas! Got on the water about 8:00am and started looking. Only took about 10 minutes to hit a huge pile of crappie! Still don't know what they were holding on, because there were just too many on the spot to clearly see on the electronics what was keeping them there! We had a blast, and started filling the cooler. Got most of our two man limit there before searching for other spots. Found another and finished the day with 50! This summer has been absolutely amazing! I can't wait for this winter. Troy is a fantastic bass fisherman, but he is quickly leaving the dark side for the thump! Caught all fish on Thermocline Lures stinger in Copper Mine using a custom color 1/16 oz jig head from Mad Crappie Jigs! This color "Squeaky" made and said "Trust me", well it is paying off! Watermelon with a blue eye, and it was a 4 to 1 favorite over pink and orange/chartreuse.
At one point Troy was trash fishing before I got him focused again!

and an awesome post! Bet the Carp fight was a good one!
Banker, it was a fantastic battle! That thing got in the buoy, I managed to circle the right direction and get it off. Then it darted from one end of the boat to the other in an almost straight line, a couple of times. Trust me when I say that I do not have the best trolling motor skills out there! I did manage to luckily keep the boat away from the line and we got him!
