This week has been absolutely everything a crappie fisherman could ask for. The beginning of the week was extremely hot, but the fishing was incredible! Jigs wouldn't work too well so we used minnows but we caught a ton of nice keepers. By mid week the jig bite was getting better but the Minnows were still helping to catch fish as soon as we dropped down. I had two trips each day that I fished this week but had time in between to regroup and rest. Friday I had a 7-11 and a 1-5 trip. I was whipped Friday at the end of the day but the first trip we had 41 keepers and the second we had 42. It was a great day on the water for sure. Saturday I had a couple from Tulsa that wanted to fish a full day( I don't do too many full days). The weather was dicey in the forecast but we had 50 keepers by 11 and called it a day at noon. We caught a lot of fish on jigs Saturday. They were very aggressive. we used Bonehead stump bugs in lots of different colors. Lime green tails seemed to work a lot better than chartreuse yesterday. I caught fish in 12-25 ft of water with most of my fish coming in the 15-20ft range on timber.

This year has been absolutely incredible and its because of each and every one of you guys that have supported me and come fishing with me. I am forever greatful. Deer season starts Saturday and it will consume most of my time! I have a lot of Hunter's lined up to hunt and they keep me very busy. I can try to fit a few fishing trips in but most will have to be last minute. If y'all need somewhere to do a cheap bow hunt, I'll take care of ya! I've got a lot of great deer! Anyways, thank you guys for a great year of fishing! One week left! I have a few openings this week that I could sneak someone in to do a couple of trips. Here's some pics from this week!
