What a fun week end. Saturday, Debbie and I went out with Professor TBOXFISH, Todd was asked to
do the impossible in about 4-5 hours, teach me and Debbie everything there is to know about
crappie jig fishing. clap We started out on the boat before we ever left the dock. fish
He explained rod and reels, types of lines, and jigs...and away we went. bolt
We went to 7-8 of his best spots, (or so he said, and I memorized each location). thumb
I really wanted Debbie to feel the jig thump, and she was a natural, her a Todd started catching fish from the two front seats in his boat right away, they made me stand behind them and watch,....the whole trip hmmm
Todd is a lot of fun, very knowledgable, and taught us a lot. We caught lots of crappie, and Debbie got
some confidence in jiggin',..
Sunday Debbie and I we went out to test our new skills and some of those THERMACLINE jigs
we fished one of our favorite spots and caught about 30 crappie, with what would have been almost all keepers.
Here's one of the biguns,.. two pounds ,...thanks Todd for some fun...jim

The pleasure was all mine Jim thumb
Debbie is a "Good Stick" and a NATURAL
All she needed was to be shown the basics and it was time to watch the fish come over the side of the boat clap

Jim didn't mention the little rodeo we had as I got my Customary Ditch Pickle out of the way cheers

It was a pleasure to share the boat with Jim & Debbie, I only hope that I was able to instill a small building block for them to build upon.

Appears that I just may have done so

Todd's guide trip was a little different, and just what we were wanting.
If anyone is second guessing their Crappie jig fishing, Todd is a great
teacher of the fine art of crappie jig fishing. We had a great time, and learned a lot.
We took a tour of the THERMACLINE factory, and the store, and met the CEO (best part).
Great folks, thanks again. (PS: no fish were eaten in the making of this trip)
