I have tried McCoy's Mean Green as a replacement for mono and that stuff sucks. First fish broke off on the 12 lb. and then I had the 15 lb break in my hand just stretching it. Tired of this junk. Anyone have a suggestion on a line that has low-memory and good durability?

Sunline Super Natural

I've had good luck with this line. It's very limp and has really good knot strength. I think it would suit you well.

Try P-line premium. Don't mess with the cx. It has memory but try some 15,17 or 20 lb premium and you will be impressed.

I'm curious what you are using it for??
The only rod I have Mono on is a top water rod.

I use the p-line cx or cxx. Just spray conditioner on it at the beginning of the day. It is hard to break the stuff.

Agree (even without the conditioner). I run it straight on my spinning reels if i'm not going with a braid/leader as it is very limp compared to a similar size flouro. But it's not a true mono if that's what the op is after

Prob agree with P-line and conditioner. That's what I used before floro and would just stretch all rods night before to get curl out.

Izorline xxx copoly. Buy it on eBay in bulk spools. I use 12, 15, 20 pound test. Only use fluoro on my jig rod now. Good stuff for moving baits! It's really strong!

Try Suffix Tritanium Plus. Academy has it, it's inexpensive and works well without the slinky affect!

Big Game, you just gotta learn how to fish. Rooting for the Cowboys will help as well.

I've also had some issues with my most recent spool of McCoy's.
I'm using Pline CXX; it does have memory but it's incredibly strong. Might try the premium Pline at some point.
