Had the pleasure of taking JJ4MEL from here on the forum, his daughter and twin boys out today on the Gulf of Lewisville for a half day morning trip. Even with the wind and 205 boat high school bass tourney we managed to find a few fish. Ended up keeping 41 sandies and throwing back 20-30 more. Also boated a 16" hybrid and 3 nice blue cats. All sandies came on Bass Pro Jiggy Twitch slabs in Holographic Pearl. Blue cats and hybrid came on live shad drifting ledges. They had a blast. I still have some open spots during the week and a few weekend days in mid October open. Still offering $200 half day trips for 2 on Lewisville and Ray Roberts.

Kids and I had a blast fishing with "Captain Jack" as my kids referred to him. Great guy with a lot of patience with the kids. Already trying to plan oir next trip. Thank you Jacky!!

I actually never had any problems with the kids fishing the tournament. It seemed to be the adults that were acting like they had never been out of the lake before. We had a guy in his bass boat drive in between us and the bank. We were casting to some fish on the edge of some shallow sticks. He pulled right into the fish and sticks with his big motor and started fishing from his driver seat. He didn't catch anything because he pushed the fish out. Never seen anything like it. He did it 2 or 3 times in the same place while we were anchored.

JJ4MEL I enjoyed your kids a lot. I was amazed to see a 5 year old boat flipping sandies while dropping some Booyahs and Oh Sons on me. I was wondering if he might have a grandparent with the last name of Dance or Martin. Looking forward to fishing with you guys again some day.

I had Friday and Saturday mornings open up if anyone wants to fish Lewisville. Half day trip for 2 for $200. Been catching lots of white bass early then drifting for blues and hybrids. Should be nice weather both days.

Already booked Saturday. I have some days next week and weekend open for trips on Lewisville. Still offering the $200 half day trip for 2 people. Weather forecast looks nice.
