 Best grass lake in DFW?

Looking for a lake with a good bit of grass to fish around DFW. Usually fish Joe pool but not a lot of vegetation there.

Nothing like east TX but Ray Roberts is your best bet.

Athens would be the closest that I know of. The lakes in the DFW area are kept pretty clear.

Athens has lots of grass I've never seen any in ray Roberts or any ntx lakes I've been to.

There was grass in Ray Roberts about four years ago or so. I sure hope it makes a comeback one of these years.

I saw some grass in Hubbard last week. I think one of the lakeside homeowners had just mowed their yard.
