Met Rob 7am Oak Cove. Launched boat and as Rob came around to pick me up he already had a small sandie on top water. Caught a couple more small sandies right at the launch and a nice LMB then decided to head to the dam. Cruised around looking for top water and graphing a few spots but didn't find much until the sun got up. Decided to graph a few way points he had and didn't take long to find fish. Most were small but 1 out of 10-15 was a keeper (we didn't keep any). We stayed on one spot for over 3 hours and caught fish till our arms got tired. I have never caught so many doubles before, we had many double doubles. Didn't keep count so don't know how many. 25-30 fow using Moe's Tackle SSS slab and fly above. Look at this poor SSS. The one on top is how the one below used to look. I added some red on the nose, gill, and red thread on the hook of all my SSS's. I have had this SSS a very long time and it had some previous use but it got slammed by a LOT of fish today. Rob with big fish of the day, almost legal hybrid. Sandie on a battered SSS Graph
