Just wanted to see if there was any action an Grapevine lately. I'm finally back in the game after a 4 year boat less period and have been hitting Grapevine twice a week and I have had spotty success chasing sandies. Seems all the birds are trained to stay at the aireator. No top water action at all. Been finding a few at Murrell and Meadomere.

I guess I will try again tomorrow to locate some good schools of fish. Should be out there around 4 till dark.
If you see a white with black CC say hi.

I'm headed out there tomorrow morning. I'm still new to the area so I have no idea where to look. Good luck to you. I'll let you know if I find them!

The east point at Morrell Park on the north side of the lake is a good morning start. The east side of the island on the shelf that drops from 15' to 25' is another good spot. If all else fails hit the aireator at the dam.

Yes just go out of the cove and follow the shore eastward to the next cove. You may find plenty before you get out of the cove. Good luck.

Slab them off the bottom and maybe they will be on top schooling.

Thank you! Would you happen to have any crappie advice for Grapevine?

No luck on sandies. I didn't try real hard though. The boat was giving me trouble. I caught a couple of LMB and I didn't have to work so it was still a good day. Boat issues were nothing major and should be good to go for next time

A lot of sandies off Murrell tonight. Hard to stay on them. Should have just anchored. A lot of doubles. All on slabs. 6 till 7:15 pm was on.

Went out this evening and found a few fish on the east Morrell point. Slow and steady is about all I can say. Nice evening no real traffic. Skinny slabs seamed to work best.

Slow today. Boated approx 25 fish. Most were caught by the island. Some at Morrel point. Saw a lot of fishing but not much catching.

Probably going to be slow until the wind picks up a little.
