Might not be where I should post this but here's where all the answers are :-). The mid section of my Merc Pro XS is not shiny anymore. I wipe down my boat w/Bass Boat Saver (pretty)regularly but this section is always dull and hazy. How do ya'll shine up this area of your motor? Thank you, 361v.

I had this same problem with my SHO and i used a couple of things to get the shine back. I used CLR, Vinegar/water, and Magic Erasers. I used the CLR first, then the vinegar/water over it, and magic erasers over that. I thought the magic erasers would do more scratching than cleaning, but I was wrong. They worked great. Hope this helps you

Gotta remove that oxidation and calcium build up, first. So a product that will do that and not hurt the finish on the exhaust housing (midsection). Then wax it. Then use BBS after each use.
