Idk if thread is already out there or not.
I have a 2015 20hp SMHA yamaha tiller.
I want to run a battery and keep it charged for running lights and a possible fish finder.
If anyone is familiar with the motor could u tell me which wires have a constant 12 volt if any. I haven't had the chance to put my meter to it. And also what would be the best battery for it and regulator. I don't need a big battery.
Thanks

I don't know about recent smaller Yamaha outboards, but usually, if it's a pull-start model, it won't have the alternator coils in the flywheel for charging. You'll have to do some research or ask a Yamaha service tech.
