There are a few lakes around that offer rental options for jet skis, pontoon boats, or wakeboarding/ski boats, but there is nobody that seems to rent jon boats or fishing boats. I just want to be able to get on some water around Fort Worth and get a line wet. I can't fish all day due to do Congenital Myopathy (muscular disorder) so I'm really just looking for a few hour, maybe 5.

Any input on this? Am I missing some place that offers such services? Anyone want to go fishing? Hah. grin

Have you considered hiring a guide. Solves a lot of your issues and they do specials this time of year where the trips can be shorted

PM me, I almost always have a back seat open for Grapevine and we can fish evening to whenever. A fellow tff'er took me a few weekends back when my boat was down so I need to pay it forward.

I've thought about it. Just don't want to pay the price guides usually want to charge. I feel like I'm experienced enough to not need a guide. Just need an opportunity to get on a boat.
