So I took a little bit of a long lunch today to go try out the new Striker 7 on the bow of my boat. It was fantastic and I got some more practice running my trolling motor. Now I just need to build a for pedestal for the trolling motor foot controls as it was a little squirly and wouldn't sit right. No matter! I've been wanting to try out a new color of Bonehead Brush Glider I've been eyeing and boy did it deliver. First drop on a brush pile about 30 ft down and wham! I kept the bait about 2-5ft over the pile and it was game on! If I had more time I would have stuck it out longer but I'll take what I can get!

Managed a few drinks afterwards but the thump therapy was worth the short trip!

That's the best way I can think of to spend a lunch break.

Good looking fish!

I think you have the formula right. It's better to be out catching something to eat rather than eating.
