Anyone familure with what a decent water temp should be? I'm pushing 230 on a semi long run at WOT. Seems hot to me. But no lights or alarms coming on.

Seems high to me. I would think a 4 stroke would be in the 170-180 degree range. The hottest thermostat I found for a 50hp Honda is 72 degrees c = 160 degrees f

On that note as soon as I come off plane and idle around it goes right back down to 165-175. I'm wondering if I'm over working it. At WOT it's taching 5450. That's just below the 5500-6000 range it's supposed to be in.
