Congrats to the Crandall team on their win! It will be interesting to see how Tawakoni performs in the fall compared to the Spring.

Alex, I hope it is totally different. There have been reports of some fish getting caught

Great. Me too. I won't be able to captain at T-wak, but I'll be back in the saddle starting with Fork.

Glad you enjoyed it. Holler at me at Tawakoni. I am usually around the tanks somewhere.

I really enjoyed being a captain. First time doing it. I liked the idea of the boat captains getting to fish for a little side pot money. I won the side pot money and gave it to the two anglers that i fished with.

Kaufman school won the over all weight and the tournament as a school. I think it goes by the top 3 weights total from each school and that was Kaufman. Congrats to Kaufman for winning the school over all tournament.

Thanks,

Hey buddy!! I actually ran into K.P. out there at weigh in. Good to see him again. As far as front ending.......i caught the first fish 3lbs, so i put my rod down, after 15 minutes of still seeing active fish and no one else had got a bite, I picked my rod back up to see if they were still there, I caught a 5lber. So i put the rod back down. 30 minutes went by in the same spot and not another bite, i pick my rod back up and caught another 5lber.

The boys looked at me like i was crazy. I said guys, you got to slow down and fish slow......I learned something that day. I made those two boys throw a shakey head, which was something they were not confident in throwing. looking back i should have just let them throw what they wanted. I think all three of us learned something that day, and thats what its all about!!
