I'm looking for the best spray on wax application to protect my boat finish from sun and wear. Something I can use every time or every other time to KEEP it protected and keep the original gelcoat shiny would be great.. Any advice??

I don't know about boats as much but used to have fiberglass corvettes. With a good wax, they were good for about a year. A little shine from the bottle now and then but it wasn't wax. You don't want a big wax buildup. I'd strip the old wax by washing the car with dawn dish soap one or twice a year. Most boats get protected from the sun more than my vette did.

A lot of people recommend 303 aerospace protectant. I put a coat of protec on and have been using the 303 the last few trips. So far it's good. It does great on the gel coat but not as good as bass boat saver on everything else. I might end up going back to bass boat saver when the bottle is done.

Tried lucas oil slick mist speed wax a few months ago and im sold. I'm very picky about what I use. Very very easy to wipe off

Also, wash it at home by hand so you can pick your soap. If you go to a car wash, you don't know what kind of soap is being used and it might be harsh enough that it strip the wax and all your hard work.

Give a good washing and wax it with Protec Sealant/Polish, then you can use Eagle One Marine, BTS or Lucas when you get off the lake.
