Hi everyone, hope y'all are having a great weekend and are having fun at the big bass splash if you are participating! We plan on heading out to ray Roberts tomorrow and launching from buck creek. How has the fishing been lately, any decent numbers or big fish caught? And info or tips on where to fish and what to use would be very appreciated.

I had a great topwater bite going from about 6:15-10:30ish today in Buck Creek area. No big ones, but almost all were between 15"-18" and aggressive on a popper.

In the areas people run out there, will they be mad if you are idling in it? We've never been that far up in the lake so we don't know where people run or anything we just find an area that looks clear and idle through.

Idle for sure, people know what's up on that lake and for th most part understand when they see someone idling by.

I think most people who fish Ray Roberts would understand someone idling through an area they might feel comfortable running. Don't worry about it.

Idling on that lake is no problem, tag behind someone who is running go and make a trail.

Just because somebody's going fast doesn't mean they know where they're going. Idle!
