066 150hp? 25m is probably too big, might try a 23. I can't see you spinning a 27 with the 150 unless you've got a 16' alison.

I would think holeshot would be terrible with a 27p if it would even get on plane....

what is your rpm at 67 with the 25M? if you are at or over the max rated rpm for your motor you might try the 27M, it will lower your WOT rpm by about 200rpm and increase speed (provided it has the power to spin it) while it will hurt your holeshot.....

Can someone tell me the factors of a propeller that affect hole shot, top speed, top RPM, ability to get on plane, etc as mentioned here? I'm looking at getting a new one since my factory prop on my 225 Yamaha HDPI is banged up.

Just like gears in your car. Sorta... The pitch number is the number of inches forward the prop will go in one revolution. Now from there it gets really complicated, diameter, rake, cup, blade design ALL make a difference. And, what runs right on my hull could be totally wrong on yours.
There's some very good experience here, so if you want a good answer, ask the right question: What exactly you're running now, with details: rpms/speed/lift/holeshot time, the more you give the better you'll get.

27p vs the 25p will drop 400 rpms at w.o.t. if all the blades on both props are identical.
