Taking the wife on Sat morning but not sure which one to fish. I have never been on GV and only once on LV. Any suggestions? She just likes to catch bass rather than size.

Lewisville is fishing good right now. Fish the 35 rip rap with square bills or chatter bait and you'll get bit. also the dam has fish on it early too. If you're out early enough, a pop r will get you bit too.

Lewisville was pretty good to me last week. I had success on riprap & around boat ramps. Looks like scattered storms are forecasted on Saturday; you could probably throw a squarebill and spinnerbait around those areas and get bit. If the sun prevails over the clouds, toss a finesse jig or creature bait on shaky head. Good luck.

I fished Lew last week and boated like 25 in 3 hours. Found them schooling on the east side of the dam close to where the bushes are in the water. Never had a fish bigger than 2.5, but it sure was fun. Split shot fluke, t-rig baby brush hog. Disco candy and watermelon candy. Good luck!!

He is saying he fished GV for two days, but had better luck on LL, I caught more and larger fish on GV.

Of those 2, I'd do Lewy but if it were me, i'd drive 20 miles north to Ray Roberts! Lewy can be and usually is a leisure boat nightmare on the weekends.
Good Luck!

I assumed that, but you don't realize this guy is a big-fish machine! Maybe it was just the guide he had.....
