 Is there a best time of year to buy electronics?

I'm looking to get a Garmin unit at the moment I've got my eye on the EchoMAP CHIRP 73sv. By searching online I see that last year the same basic model was on sale for $500 during Black Friday at BPS. Anyone here think it or a similar Garmin unit might be around that price point again Black Friday / Cyber Monday this year? Or would the best deals be around the first of year when new models are coming out?

Different stores put them on sale at different times. I haven't found any sort of pattern to it. Just start checking them all frequently

Garmin usually comes out with new products around March 1 every year. And, by the way, that is a great unit!!

Watch tackle warehouse. They always have about 10-15% off during holidays. Last year I bought a bunch of gift cards in January from them for about 20% off and used them to get a graph

I don't know if there is a best time but be sure to check out BOE marine on line. I saved $500 on a Gen I hds 8 over Bass Pro a few years ago.

u can try BBG MARINE they usually have good price and stock got my 93svs through them
