I'm setup on my first spot for the Fork Big Bass Splash. Not a boat in sight. Not sure if that's good or not. Going head hunting today. Starting in a channel where we've caught several overs over the years. They're not always here but when there is a thud on the business end of my jig it usually ends with a big girl.

Hero or zero

Green fish have about 40 bait options where I'm sitting... Good luck.

Managed to land 12 fish (not counting the 1.5# crappie I caught). Didn't take any pics because there wasn't anything to get excited about. Caught an 18 incher in my morning jig hole...that was disappointing. Started junk fishing and managed 3 moe slots and the rest were little rats. One of my slots went a hair over 16 inches. When I first measured it I thought it was good. But when I swiped the tail back and forth it would cross the line by the smallest amount. Talking to others I had a good numbers day. Talked to 6-7 guys. Three had zero. Two had one fish. One had 3 fish and the last guy had 2 fish. Didn't feel like a good day to me. Looks like I'll be chasing unders tomorrow.
