The Lake Fork Anglers 19th tournament of 2016 was Thursday Sept 15 out of Oak Ridge Marina. Next tournament is Oct 6th.
Registration will start at 6 AM and end at 6:30 Am. Fishing starts at 7 AM and runs until 3 PM ....
Anglers may go out of any ramp they want too.

Club members caught 170 bass total on a beautiful morning that turned a little windy in the afternoon. The air temps did get pretty warm after 10 AM.
There were a lot of fish caught mainly on C- rigs, T-rigs, crankbaits and drop shots. Same old story but it is true. The top water bite was not on. But a few were caught on frogs.
For the first time this year the lunker of the day was not a 7 lber. 170 bass were caught by 31 anglers with 3 skunks. The little bass were just unreal. Lot's of fun but finding anything decent was few and far between.
1st place went to Chuck Roy of Yantis with 18 fish for 9.92 and a 2.18 lunker.
We only count the five largest.
2nd place went to Brian Dick of Alba also with 18 fish for 8.94 and the 2.07 lunker.
3rd place went to Jerry Krone of hawkins with 3 fish for 8.3 pounds and a 3.81 lunker.
4th place went to Randy Steele of Sulphur Springs with 10 fish for 7.47 and the 3.02 lunker
5th place went to Stan Norton of Emory with 8 fish for 6.94 with a 1.35 lunker.
6th place went to Jeff Wilkerson of Yantis with 9 fish for 6.68 with the 3.98 lunker of the day..
We paid 6 places and had 31 anglers fishing and caught 170 fish and MOST of them were not quality slots. Only three anglers skunked in this tournament. Some had a lot of success while had none. It is Lake Fork
How are those weights even possible. Because we measure and release, and record on a laminated sheet.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $13 entry fee. Slot fish count. No teams. We are currently at below cap and are looking for a some boaters who will also fill in as co-anglers if needed and we will also accept "guests" who generally get to fish when regular members are away.
Actually none of our guests has sat one out as yet. And we are also looking for co-anglers.
Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will find them. This week more than a few slayed them
