Water conditions: 83^o & stained We boated 50+ largemouth & spots. The majority were 12"ish Kentuckys, but about a 15 or so were quality keeper largies up to 4.25lbs. We had a blast. I was able to help get my nephew his 2nd frog fish ever, and hell must be frozen because I even graphed and caught fish deep We targeted banks and docks with squarebills in shady pockets early off the main lake. As the sun got higher we pitched craws to docks near the main lake with the steepest contours to deep water. They liked it moving. Probably could have done better with swimjigs. Later in the day we hit main lake points with 6XDs and craws on wobble heads. Fish were in 14'-22' ft. No giants, but definitely good times.

Looks like you made the right decision to go to Cypress Springs. It sounds like you put a good plan of attack together and the fish cooperated. Thanks for the report!!!

Thanks, TwoLakes, and you're welcome. We had a ball. I hadn't been on that lake since the first term of the Reagan administration so I had little expectations. I had set out this summer to improve on my deep water/electronics reading abilities and have failed miserably until yesterday's trip. It was a good confidence booster.
