Well, I was able to get my Hobie Pro Angler 12 out for the first time. Enjoyed every bit of it. Went out to Kurth Lake. After getting accustomed to the Kayak, I did some fishing. I chased mostly schools of fish around the mid lake area. Caught most of them on a medium sized Zara Spook. I also caught fish on a Niko Rig and a Jointed Crank Bait. A lot of thick, thick, thick, grass out there. Watch for boils on top of the water and stay within the area. Baits that were not successful today that have been there in the past were frogs, Zoom U tail 10 inch, and shallow diving crank bait.
